Infinite visual canvas
Pan, zoom, arrange, and connect content freely instead of being constrained to a fixed slide or page while exploring a system or process.
Sketch system architecture, flows, wireframes, data models, and visual notes on an infinite canvas saved in your browser.
Verso Pad Diagram Board is a flexible browser canvas for turning an idea into a visual explanation. Draw rectangles, diamonds, arrows, lines, text, and freehand marks; group related items; move between overview and detail; and use visual hierarchy to communicate how a process, interface, network, or software system fits together. The interaction is powered by Excalidraw and retains its approachable hand-drawn diagram style.
The board is suitable for architecture sketches, incident timelines, decision flows, database relationships, low-fidelity interfaces, meeting notes, and teaching diagrams. A collection of default libraries provides reusable elements for cloud design, technology logos, network topology, DevOps, system design, UML and entity relationships, wireframing, forms, data visualization, and other technical subjects. Users can also upload an Excalidraw library when a specialized symbol set is needed.
Canvas data is saved in local browser storage rather than an account-backed workspace. This makes the tool convenient for private drafts and quick diagrams without sign-up, but it also means the current browser profile is responsible for persistence. Clearing site data, switching devices, or using a private window can remove or isolate the board, so export important diagrams and keep copies as part of a normal documentation workflow.
The Diagram Board is intentionally not a real-time collaborative Miro replacement. It does not provide team permissions, comments, server-hosted version history, or simultaneous cursors. Its strength is rapid, private visual thinking with familiar drawing tools and useful technical libraries. For formal documentation, export a stable artifact and pair it with text that explains assumptions, ownership, security boundaries, and decisions that shapes alone cannot convey.

Combine shapes, arrows, connectors, text, freehand drawing, colors, grouping, and layering to create clear technical or conceptual diagrams.
Use bundled libraries for architecture, cloud, AWS, networking, databases, DevOps, algorithms, UML, wireframes, forms, icons, and system-design components.
Load an additional .excalidrawlib file from the device when the default component sets do not cover a domain-specific diagram.
Restore the latest board from local storage on the same device without creating a Verso Pad account or uploading the canvas to an application database.
Use Excalidraw-compatible import and export options to keep important work outside local browser storage and move diagrams into documentation.
The diagram becomes a fast shared reference for discussion, while the exported copy protects important work from browser-storage loss. Review it whenever the implementation or trust boundaries change.
The current board is saved in local browser storage on the device and browser profile you are using. Verso Pad does not create a server-side account or project record for it.
No. This implementation is focused on private, local diagramming and does not provide real-time collaboration, comments, or team permissions.
The locally saved board can be removed. Export important diagrams and keep those files in an appropriate project or documentation repository.
Yes. Use the library upload option to load a compatible .excalidrawlib file from your device alongside the bundled technical libraries.
